Main scoring anchor: Gulf Front Park, 10400 Gulf Blvd. The paved Treasure Island Beach Trail begins here and runs roughly one mile north toward 119th Avenue, while sidewalks and bike lanes line Gulf Boulevard.

Parking and access
Current city meter rate: $5 per hour, or $5.50 per hour on weekends and holidays. Gulf Front Park has 77 spaces, with additional paid public parking around the Community Center, 112th Avenue municipal beach and other city lots. The price is the main reason parking does not score higher despite useful capacity and direct access.
Food near Treasure Island Beach
The central Treasure Island district has a strong mix of beach bars, seafood, burgers, Mexican and casual restaurants within a practical walk of the sand. Sloppy Joe’s on the Beach, BRGR Kitchen + Bar, VIP Mexican Restaurant & Lounge and several other Gulf Boulevard choices give the beach substantially better food access than the nearby state-park beaches.
Activities and watersports
Swimming, paddleboard and kayak rentals, cabanas, beach walking, bicycling, kite flying and volleyball are available around Treasure Island. John’s Pass, immediately north in Madeira Beach, expands the nearby excursion mix with jet skis, parasailing, fishing and boat tours, but those off-anchor options are not counted as if they were directly on Gulf Front Park.
Before you go
Treasure Island is unusually wide, so even a beachfront parking space can still leave a longer walk across sand than at a narrow beach. There are no lifeguards at the municipal beach; swim at your own risk. Parking rules and rates should be checked before arrival, especially on weekends and holidays.
