Parking and getting around
Upham Beach is a paid-parking beach. The city lists 183 spaces at Beach Plaza and 67th Avenue, plus nearby public spaces on Sunset Way, 75th Avenue and 69th/67th. Current city rates are $5 per hour Monday–Thursday and $6 per hour Friday–Sunday, with a $1 per hour seasonal surcharge from February 1 through April 30. St. Pete Beach also operates the free on-demand Freebee shuttle throughout the city.

St. Pete Beach stretches well beyond one access point. This guide uses Upham Beach as the practical day-trip anchor because it combines official public access, restrooms, showers, accessible beach features, food at the sand and nearby Corey Avenue. If parking there is full, the city also lists a 223-space public lot at 4700 Gulf Boulevard. Current destination guidance says St. Pete Beach access points are open.
