Parking rules and availability can change on busy weekends. Manatee Public Beach has the most complete day-trip facilities; Bean Point has limited parking and no equivalent restroom or lifeguard setup. Coquina Beach, at the southern end of Anna Maria Island, is another useful option for a wider beach, shaded picnic areas and additional public facilities.
